Every group is different, so we have different boats for your private boat tour:
- Open boat (sloop): up to 35 guests. Perfect for sunny days. Feel the breeze and see the canals up close.
- Classic Captainsboat Small: up to 20 guests. A cosy, classic saloon boat for birthdays, families and small groups.
- Classic Captainsboat Medium: up to 30 guests. Plenty of space for friends, colleagues or a family celebration.
- Classic Captainsboat Large: up to 100 guests. Ideal for company outings, weddings and large parties.

Departure point & route
Most private canal cruises depart from Central Station (Stationsplein), right in the heart of Amsterdam. Would you rather board somewhere else, for example near your hotel, restaurant or venue? Choose “Any other location” in the form and we’ll check if we can pick you up there.
Your skipper takes you through the Canal Ring, past the famous gabled canal houses, the Jordaan and the Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug). Want to see something special? Just let us know. On a private boat tour, the route is adapted to your wishes and the size of your boat.
How much does a private canal cruise cost?
The price of your private canal cruise depends on the boat, the duration (minimum 90 minutes) and your drinks and food choices. Private boats start from € 250 per hour. Fill in the form above and you’ll receive a tailor-made quote.
