Sail through the illuminated canals of Amsterdam during the 15th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival. This year’s theme, Legacy, invites artists from around the world to reflect on what we preserve and what we pass on to future generations.
During this approximately 75-minute cruise, you will discover more than 20 impressive light artworks that transform Amsterdam’s canals into an open-air art festival. Experience the festival from a comfortable luxury open boat, giving you panoramic views of the artworks and the illuminated city.
Your local skipper and host will guide you along the festival route with live commentary in English. Warm blankets are provided to keep you comfortable during the winter evening.
Drinks such as beer, wine, mulled wine and soft drinks are available on board. Choose the unlimited drinks option to enjoy these beverages without limits, together with your choice of a fresh stroopwafel or salted snacks.

- Arrival & Check-in: Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Please do not arrive earlier, as early boarding is not possible.
- Welcome Aboard: Step aboard our comfortable luxury open boat, find your seat and grab a warm blanket before setting off.
- Set Sail: Begin your approximately 75-minute journey along the official Amsterdam Light Festival route.
- Discover the Light Art: Admire more than 20 impressive light artworks created for the 15th edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival, centred around this year’s theme, Legacy.
- Drinks, Art & Stories: Your local skipper and host will share stories and fun facts about Amsterdam and the light artworks. Beer, wine, mulled wine and soft drinks are available on board, or enjoy unlimited drinks when you have selected this option.
- Return: After approximately 75 minutes of light, art and Amsterdam’s illuminated canals, we will return to the departure area.
