The magical wonderland in which Amsterdam changes in winter becomes even more beautiful in the last month of the year. All buildings are beautifully lit. And various initiatives are being started to make Amsterdam even more beautiful. The festival of lights also starts then.
A succession of beautiful works of art, each with their own story.
During the Amsterdam Sparkling Art Tour we pass all these fantastic sights, beautiful works of art, illuminated buildings, playful houseboats and beautiful bridges with thousands of lights. And we tell the history behind what you see. Do that while enjoying a nice drink and a typical Dutch snack. Enjoy a beautiful heated closed boat where you can enjoy all the splendor we pass by, nicely dry and warm. The skipper is also your guide and knows many ins and outs about all the things he/she tells you about with passion.
The we will be using an amazing more than 100 years old captains boat. Of course completely restored in an fully electric and heated boat for your convenience. The combination of classical wooden ornaments, a little bit of decoration from the hand of Captain Jack (actually more the wifey) and the magical sights will give you an amazing evening tour…
The tour lasts around 60 minutes (when it is busy it can have a longer duration) and starts very central near Central Station. Right across the Grand Hotel Amrath (Oosterdokskade 341, 1011 BS Amsterdam).
