On the Rembrandt Square you’ll find one of Amsterdam oldest and largest night venues. The Escape Venue is a nightclub which is known to have a lot of amazing events that can go on till late in the morning. Opening hours are most of the time from 11pm till 5am. The club is mostly known to have specialized events brought to you by different organisations that have made their mark in the world of events. Organisations like ID&T, Pasha, Chemistry and many more have organised the most amazing events there. With artists like David Guetta, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Phats & Small, Armin van Buuren, etc..
But they have many own organized events there as well with their in house dj’s. There is a big spectrum within nightlife that they offer. They also have different areas which can be added to the main hall, or used as a venue on its own. The genres that you can expect are in the range of techno to EDM, and hip-hop to the classics.
The club also has a really nice bar dancing right next to it (it can also be acced through the club if it is open). It is called cafe “de Kroon” which means the crown in dutch. A really relaxed atmosphere where you can also eat. And it will be transformed in a bar dancing afterwards.
Decoration
Escape Venue is also known to go all out on decorations. Especially on the special occasions like Kingsday, Amsterdam Dance Event or Gaypride you’ll have amazing visual treat with decorations, laser effects and performances.
Escape Venue is also known to have the latest techniques in sound and lighting. Which means that you will be treated with the best sound quality and amazing spectacular light shows.

History
Club Escape is one of the most popular clubs in the Netherlands and has been around since 1986! After 3 major transformations. Before 1986 the area of the Escape Venue was a shoppingmall. but when the locations needed close due renovation it was transformed into a theater and nightclub.
